Iris' are in bloom in Chesterfield County Virginia
The iris plants around my yard are now opening up for business this spring.
My Venus Flytrap is budding new leaves and teeth
It had been successful during the summer catching bugs, but it seemed to have overdone it (or got over-watered being outside) and the leaves all blackened up and fell away. These are all new leaves coming forth. It could be that the old leaves had simply outlived their usefulness, Flytraps will shed them after they've had a few catches with them.
