Blackberries!

Blackberries are growing strong in the back yard. The bush seems to be in a perfect spot to get some shade and sun, and there's a regular supply of some water from condensation from off a a/c window unit drip-drip-dripping on to it.

The English garden at the Poe Museum in Richmond VA

Image
The Poe Museum in Richmond VA is a complex of old Virginia brick buildings, but the main house is a stone structure considered to be the oldest building in Richmond. The museum has a scale model of Richmond at the time of Poe's lifetime and it's a unique way to get a sense of what Richmond Was (and has become). The museum grounds are extraordinary.
